About Us

The Hanwha Foundation of Culture, established in 2007 by Hanwha Group, is a non-profit organization
dedicated to supporting artists and fostering the sustainable development of Korean arts and culture.
Through collaborations with institutions around the world, the foundation operates diverse exhibitions, residency programs,
and cultural exchange initiatives that expand opportunities for emerging artists and build international networks.
In partnership with the Centre Pompidou, the foundation will open Centre Pompidou Hanwha Seoul at the 63 Building in Yeouido in 2026,
presenting major exhibitions from the Pompidou’s renowned collection alongside special exhibitions, educational programs, and public initiatives.
Continuing the legacy of the late Mrs. Seo Young Min, the foundation also administers the Youngmin International Residency Grant,
supporting talented Korean artists’ participation in leading international residency programs.
In addition, the foundation recently opened Space ZeroOne in New York — the first exhibition space directly operated by a Korean corporate
cultural foundation — to promote contemporary Korean artists on the global stage and strengthen international artistic exchange.
