The Centre Pompidou is one of France’s three major art museums,
alongside the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay,
and is the largest museum of modern and contemporary art in Europe.
The Centre Pompidou Hanwha Seoul, a new cultural landmark in Seoul,
is established through a partnership between the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the Hanwha Foundation of Culture.
It is scheduled to open in late May 2026 within the iconic 63 Building in Yeouido.
By combining Europe’s 20th-century legacy of artistic innovation with Hanwha’s forward-looking vision,
the Centre Pompidou Hanwha Seoul aims to become a global cultural platform that explores the intersections of art, technology, and society.
